What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. We also use similar storage in your browser, and we call all of it cookies here.
Necessary cookies
Necessary cookies make the site work and cannot be switched off. This website sets one:
| Name | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| apex_scout_consent | Remembers your choice on optional cookies: 1 for accepted, 0 for rejected | One year |
Forms and sign-in
The contact and early access forms load Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are not a bot. It may keep a short-lived value in your browser to do that, and the form needs it to send.
The Scout app uses necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect its forms.
Optional cookies
Optional cookies are off until you accept them. This website has one optional group: analytics from PostHog.
If you accept, PostHog sets a cookie in your browser named ph_<project key>_posthog, which recognizes your browser from one visit to the next. It lets us measure which pages are used. This website never records sessions.
If you reject, or you have not chosen, PostHog does not load and nothing is sent to it.
Your choice
The banner asks on your first visit. Reject all takes one click, and Customize lets you pick. Nothing optional loads until you choose.
To change your choice, open Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If you turn analytics off, PostHog stops at once and the cookies it set are removed.
See Privacy for how we use data, who processes it and your rights.
